Hi Kathryn. I apologize for any misunderstanding. I have Emailed Gary Foerster and both he and I must be having senior moments! He did receive the DVDs from your good self. He brought them over to the UK but he thinks he left them with Larry Riches (Larry the Limey) instead of me, so the trail for Sherlock Holmes is unclear! Thank-you for your part in this mystery! Gary says if he cannot find them he will order another set from you!! Apologies and thanks again! Oh! And a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Jeremy and Kate.xx
Hi Kathryn. Remember me? I still have not received the DVDs of the photographs you took on the 020, despite our 3 attempts in 2010!! I will be coming to Vermont next June 2011. If you would be so kind as to post my copies of the DVDs to Gary Foerster, 11 Branch Lane, East Setauket, New York 11733, there will be good chance that I might finally receive them! With every good wish, Jeremy Wilkinson.
I received your check. Thank you. That was generous of you.
I'm doing the final edits on the completed project. The DVD processor wants too much for the replication [$8.00 per disk x 5 disks], so I'm shopping around. Then they will go out. Yippeee!
Take care and stay warm,
Well I'm on 10 acres and we have propane heat and a generator. Our williamsburg Cape Cod also has a williamsburg kitchen building so we are ready for what ever comes. We are also on a mountain ridge so we don't have to worry about floods. Thanks again look forward to the packet. Many thanks, Jon
I talked to my brother who lives in Earlysville, next to Charlottesville. He has a farm there. They got 2' and have no power until tonight. The tractor's snow thrower's drive shaft broke and he's been dragging it around the driveway to flatten the snow. They have a hearth going, but there's no heat and no running water. Virginia is proud of its 18th Century history. Now he gets to live it for real! Stay warm and dry. KLK
We were open Friday but we got 16 inches of snow. Around here thats reason to shut everything down. We have had 49 inches of snow this year. I have been plowing my butt off. Thanks for everything you have done for me and all of us. You helped this special. Thanks, Jon
UPS just sent me a message that they couldn't get a message to you. Here is the tracking #1Z26Y5331394463946. I sent it overnight for Friday delivery, but you weather has slowed it up. It is in Roanoke. Maybe you can pick it up? Good luck.
PS : the DVD does work well on a computer, or DVD player. KLK
I've downloaded another program to give me some flexibility, but I have a meeting with the Apple expert Wednesday night. Your new slide show [that I made Sunday night] will play on a computer, but not a DVD player. Hopefully I'll be able to do that soon. I'll keep you posted.
Hello Kathryn: OK, it was my confusion. From what I have seen, your part of the country has been putting up some real competition for our winters. :) Although there is a considerable amout of winter left, we are over the hump, so to speak, and our daylight is coming back. All of which, make us very eager for spring. If all goes well, we should be able to bring our Ts out of hibernation in 2 - 21/2 months!!
No, I was talking to Jon about his slideshow with which he's having a hard time, not the set. I've finished production on two of the three part set and have a little more work to do on the last one. So, soon, they'll be done. I'll give everyone a heads up when they are complete. Don't worry, I'll have UPS get them to everyone.
I have no idea what could be wrong. I've tested the movies on my husband's computer [a MacProBook] and a Sony DVD player before I send them out. So far, no one else is having trouble. I use UPS for all of them, so I don't think that they've been de-magnitized somewhere. Can you try it at the library, school, or computer store near you to see if it will play? I'm really sorry, but that is the extent of my computer knowledge. I asked at my local Apple store about you earlier disk not playing. The tech said that any good quality blank disk should work and that when the full set is produced, they will be on professional grade disks. I'll ask around tomorrow to see if anyone knows why this is happening to you.
