Hi Jim: My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org. I certainly will give serious thought to your thoughts. You noted that they were cock-eyed. Was that an installation issue or are they flawed? Milt has small drum brakes of a similar nature on the Ford 2 car and he said that his worked well wet, dry and in reverse. Do you know anything about his? The large drum Rockeys currently on the car work OK, but I do not like having to shim the axel in order to provide clearence in the inside of the small drum, and they don't look that great either. We are expecting to go to Hershey this year, another first for us. Hope to see you there!!
Hello Jim & Carol: I hear that you are no longer using your small drum accessory brakes. My 15, as you may have noticed, has large drum Rocky Mountains. I would prefer small drum brakes on this car. If you are willing to let your brakes go, I am interested.
It was a pleasure meeting both of you, we had a wonderful time. I also recently saw your pictures of the 15 Runabout that you drove in 1984. Fun cars aren't they??
Hi Carol & Jim, When looking over my MANY pix I think of you guys often and look forward to seeing you at Hershey! I have only missed once in 35 years! My spaces are CK 19-22 and we eat breakfast each morning at Bob Evans.
God bless and be well,
Right back at you all with helping me with my new engine, etc. I will fondly remember both of you. I will be at Hershey and can't wait to see everyone!!! Its hard to beleive what we have just done and for you to have done this twice AMEN! I will plan another long distance trip with in the next 7 years. thanks, Jon
What an unbelievable small world we live in. I was made aware of this "connection" only days ago. Nancy (Walters) and my wife, Nancy, are connected all the time through high school alumni activity which is where I first learned of this coincidence. Although I know Carl, I knew his brother much better. Unfortunately, Bill recently passed away. I too look forward to meeting you guys and hope that Nancy comes to your party.
