Clara is almost ready to hit the road

Thanks to the hard work of several friends, Clara is almost ready to hit the road again. She has a new wooden frame, the sheet metal has a fresh coat of glossy black paint, the hogs head was rebuilt (the wreck broke it!), and she is even sporting a new interior. Dan would be proud of his friends. He was able to complete so much of the restoration, then his illness took most of his energy. Clara gets a new body

We were hit from behind by a semi sized truck who was passing another truck on the right. Both Jann and I are sore and bruised, but otherwise fine. Clara on the other hand is badly damaged and is unable to continue.

Our friends have been kind enough to take all of the pink ribbons and put them on their cars so they will make it all the way to… Continue

Team Louisianna Are Raising Funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

Gail and Jann are "selling" pink ribbons to raise awareness, and funds, for the Greater Lansing Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization. The magnetic ribbons are signed by the donor, and they are placed on the Model T and will remain there for the duration of the trip from Manhattan to Seattle.
