Time's getting closer. My pal, Jon, is more than ready for the big trip. He will meet up with me at Olathe, KS. My plans are to fly in to KC, figure out how to meet up with him at Olathe and spend the rest of the time in the "T" as we motor on to Seattle. I am especially excited about this trip since I spent three years from 1955-1958, while in the Navy, at Whidbey Island, right outside of Seattle. I was at a Naval Air Station in Whidbey Island and we deployed to Kwajalein for the only H-bomb… Continue

Willard Revaz ~ His Blog Page

This will be the Blog page where I will be posting our activity and progress across the country in Bob's 1914 Model-T Touring car. The past 5 years of anticipation and planning have gone by quickly and will shortly come to fruition.

My interest in the Model-T began 35 years ago when my father-in-law suggested that I get a hobby which I could be involved in at home, since I was starting a family. I saw an ad in a newspaper listing 3 Model-T s for sale in a nearby town, each for $1200.… Continue

This is where I will be making daily Blogs about the trip each day. Enjoy, Thanks, Jon

Forty years ago I was introduced to the wonderful world of Model T's by Ballard Phleager of Salem, Virginia. I was a freshman at Roanoke College. I came out of the local pharmacy and spotted a 1920 Model T touring owned by Ballard. The T was Ballard's everyday driver. Ballard and I became very good friends. Everyday after class I would go to his little back alley garage and help him rebuild Model… Continue

Team Louisianna Are Raising Funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

Gail and Jann are "selling" pink ribbons to raise awareness, and funds, for the Greater Lansing Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization. The magnetic ribbons are signed by the donor, and they are placed on the Model T and will remain there for the duration of the trip from Manhattan to Seattle.

Blogs, Forum, Invite, etc.

How do we set this all up. We plan on having a lot of people track us on the trip. We won't be carrying a lap top but will use the hotel's or someone else's to post entries and pictures. Help this non tech person on the details of doing all this. We will have a few email address to add as friends also
