Time's getting closer. My pal, Jon, is more than ready for the big trip. He will meet up with me at Olathe, KS. My plans are to fly in to KC, figure out how to meet up with him at Olathe and spend the rest of the time in the "T" as we motor on to Seattle. I am especially excited about this trip since I spent three years from 1955-1958, while in the Navy, at Whidbey Island, right outside of Seattle. I was at a Naval Air Station in Whidbey Island and we deployed to Kwajalein for the only H-bomb…See More
