Continue

Sven,
I sent the 2 saddle pads to Bill Barth. and ordered 2 for Carol and Me. they are heavy , but there is thin padding in outr T seat, and they are a welcome addition.
We are off sunday for a 2,200 mile tour ( with the southern California model T club) around the Arozona ,Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. Grand Canyon ,Bryce , zion, durango and the steam train , chalma and the steam train , and lots more .
It has not rained in Tuscon, Az. in weeks and it has been very hot. BUT... now there is a typhoon coming and that will all change!!!
My cell at Hershey is 719-207-0764. I fly into Harrisburg Wensday ariving at 2:05 pm. I always wear a club shirt on the plane and put my club jacket where it too can be seen. I always have a ride to the green field , before I get off the plane!!!!
and once on the field I have lots of friends and a place to stay , and a ride Saturday to the airport. No need to rent a car , it is too much trouble parking. I recomend the crab cakes for breakfast ...... and lunch.. Bring and umbrella and good dry walking shoes.
Elk season starts today, and I am in Denver baby sitting the twins. I will be gone most of September touring and the first week of October is when i have shedualed to shoot, clean and process and freeze that bad boy. things do not always work out as planned,, last year I did not get an elk for the first time in 10 years!!!
We will be in France the third week in July for the Classic Le Mans , supporting a friend with a 1929 5 liter DO stutz , that has a blower on the front crankshaft.
It was built to race against the the 5 liter blown bentleys. . It beat them last year!. and then 2 weeks later Prescott in England and the Bugotties.
Carol is going to Italy in March and April with girlfriends .
There is a T tour next year in September around Yellowstone national park and Wyoming and Montana. It is still sketchyy, but we will be going th Cody, and Jackson hole . Carol and I were married in Jackson 20 years ago. That tour is with the southern California model T club. I do have extra model Ts. The coupe we drove on the 2003 centennial tour. We drove 1500 miles on interstates to LA and then toured to Deerborn for the ford centennial . That 27 coupe is a very strong car.
It almost always rains at Hershey

Sven,,
What a "trip"!!!
And we all made it!
And all the new friends.
It was similar to 1984 New York to Seattle. Back then the Top speed limit in the USA was 55 Miles perr hour, and we did do more interstates. . But the new friends we made who have the same passions is what it is all about.
I spoke to Bill Barth last night and the Alfa -Gel pads are going out tomorrow.
The second day we were home , we went to a garage sale ..... and I bought a Jeweler's safe..... it weighed 2500 pounds ..... and I hurt my back loading it into my truck. ( dump ass). We did sit on the Alfa Gell pads driving back to Colorado. We found them on line and Bought 2 for Carol amd Me.
I also shit canned our small rocky mountaian brakes and bought disk brakes. from Bill Tharp , in Ft Collins.
We live at 8,225 ' above sea lelel in the heart of the rocky mountains. the skiing is GOOD. the hunting is GOOD and there are hot springs everywhere. Next time you are this way, please plan on spending some time with us in Buena Vista, Colorado.
We have a web cam just next our hot tub. It takes a new picture every minute.
www.bvwebcam.com
It is raining now , but thre is a liitle new snow( or hail) on the 14 ers ( 11 mountains over 14,000 feet, which we see from the hot tub)
I usually go to Hershey ( depending on my hunting licenses).
my cell is 1-719-207-0764 if you are on the field at Hershey call me and we will go to dinner .

Sven I have been a little busy and not looked at this site. I dont think I will bring any instruments for playing on this trip. I have been working on getting some miles on my 14 car before the trip. When are you coming over to the USA? Now that your truck has left you will have time to pack your luggage.
Regards
Ron
