A special chapter in my life
We woke early to beat the heat while in Kansas, left at 4AM, nobody on the roads but us. I sat in the back of our little 23 touring car clicking down the road in the dark. - Good Morning Gary. Boy you like to be up early. The Brits are coming! Mick Kemp and I have now secured USA Insurance and will be booking the shipping of our cars very soon. We will let you know if you can help us receive them and store them in New York in the next week or so. I am going to meet Larry at Horncastle on Tuesday (7 April). - Thanks for the comment, Gary. My T is now being reassembled in Southampton, having every bushing bearing and what-not replaced.
I have been in close contact with various police depts, and NYC offices to prepare a safe ? route for us. Things are pretty well set now. The first day in NYC will be the most dangerous day of the trip, and I am going to scare the bejesus out of the group at the banquet.
I will be back in LI about May first.
